Fort Worth’s renowned Kimbell Art Museum gained world-wide attention… and envy… with its recent acquisition of one of only three known completed paintings by Italian Renaissance master Michelangelo Buonarroti, “The Torment of Saint Anthony.”  The addition of this priceless treasure, along with other works by artists ranging from Fra Angelico, Donatello to Bernini, makes the Kimbell’s Italian art collection one of the best. 

We hope you can join us on a docent-led tour of these works, which we are lucky to have in the Metroplex!   The tour will last approximately one hour.  Afterward, participants will have time to enjoy the rest of the museum's Permanent Collection.  The tour is offered at no cost to ICD Members.  Guests are asked to make a $5.00 donation to the ICD.  Please contact Mary Ann Webster at culture@itcd.org with any questions.
